We were traveling from out of town when our transmission failed. We were towed to The Auto Doctor and even though they were extremely busy they were able to rather quickly diagnose the problem and provide us with options. Because the repair I wanted required a new transmission, it was going to take several days for shipping and installation. We scheduled a date for us to pick our car and on that date it was ready to go. The car runs great! I was very pleased with their service, professionalism and honesty. Truckee is lucky to have such a high quality auto repair shop.

While making the 70-mile trip from my home to Tahoe Forest Hospital, where my man-friend is receiving treatment, my RAV4 developed a noisy thump-thump-thump in the front end. Pulled over immediately, within feet of the TART Bus stop, so my friend hopped on the bus to keep his appointment. I called AAA Road Service for a tow and "Megan" suggested The Auto & Tire Doctor as a repair facility, as I was clueless as to where to have my car towed. The service there was outstanding! My Boxer, Owen, was welcomed with a playmate (Sophie) and a fresh bowl of water. When I mentioned to Chris that I'd probably have to rent a car, he said he would have his tech guy take a quick look at my RAV. Well, tech guy found nothing more than loose lug nuts on my driver-side front wheel, as well as on my passenger-side rear wheel, which he immediately torqued. Most importantly, he test drove my car for 2 miles before releasing the car to me. So, for exceptional and expedited service, I give TWO-THUMBS UP to The Auto & Tire Doctor! These guys are simply the best!
