Everything when very smoothly.

Our car broke down Saturday afternoon three hours into our summer vacation. We were towed to Auto Doctor on the advice of our AAA driver. W rented a car in Reno and continued our journey into the mountains of Eastern Oregon. Even though our cell reception was poor, Lisa kept us apprised of diagnostics, time for repairs to be done and costs. A week and a half later the car was ready to be picked up on our way home. The paperwork was thorough but I raised a question regarding one line item. Alan looked into it immediately and resolved the issue within 24 hours. This was the best communication with an auto repair experience I’ve ever had. Truckee is several miles from where we live but I would definitely consider taking our one and only car back to The Auto Doctor for repairs in the future.

Always honest, informative & timely……

Our car was towed into The Auto Doctor very late on a Friday afternoon. Lisa Trent, the Service Adviser, explained that their workshop (like all the rest in town) is closed on the weekend. Since they had several cars ahead of us, the soonest they could get to ours would be late Monday. When Lisa learned that we were 300 miles from home and would have to stay at a hotel for the weekend, she had one of the technicians take a look. He discovered a detached sensor cable and he reconnected it. Problem solved; we made it home that night. The Auto Doctor didn't charge us a cent. It's heartening to know that there are still people and businesses like this in the world. If we lived near Truckee we would be loyal customers.
