I've been working with The Auto & Tire Doctor for years and have always been pleased with my experience. I'm always greeted with a friendly smile by the service managers and they do a thorough job of explaining the work that needs to be done on my vehicles. Their prices are fair and the mechanics do great work.

Fast efficient and friendly

We were amazed at the level of friendly, efficient service. For $20 we got a tire removed, fixed and replaced, along with free video games, popcorn and fresh-baked cookies for the kids. We hope to have tire trouble more often!

We're from out of town and had a slowly-leaking tire during a snow storm. We were bracing for a long wait and a difficult experience at an auto-repair shop. Instead we were amazed at the level of fast, friendly and efficient service. For $20 we got a tire removed, fixed and replaced, along with free video games, popcorn and fresh-baked cookies for the kids. The staff was really helpful and friendly. We hope to have tire trouble in Truckee more often. :-)

Unhelpful. Prices high. Busy. Needs better management.

They did the job well. They were polite and accommodating. They are a good part of the community. My 2-star reflects that I told them the diagnosis and what needed to be done but then they charged me for a diagnosis that came to the same conclusion that I had already notified them of.
