Grateful for the auto doctor and their crew for taking care of my 2010 Subaru that desperately needed it’s 130k maintenance. At a fair price I chose them over Reno and a couple other auto shops in Truckee. I’m extremely pleased with the service provided and the performance of my car.

As a part-time Truckee resident with a new Jeep, I asked several locals for recommendations on auto mechanics. The consensus was The Auto and Tire Doctor. I took the Jeep there and was pleased with their knowledge and customer-oriented approach. But the real test came because their part supplier gave them a hose that did not fit properly although labeled as appropriate. This resulted in a break down in the desert and major towing and repair costs. These folks faced the issue with complete professionalism, taking full responsibility for the problem and immediately reimbursing all the costs. Mistakes happen; the test is how business responds when they do. These folks have earned my review and continued business notwithstanding the problem.

I can't say enough about the service and care shown by the staff at the Auto Doctor. We were towed to the facility and from the first contact with the Auto Doctor team we felt that we were in good hands. Jason, Lisa, and the big guy with the beard went out of their way to get us back on the road. Bravo!

I love the new express lube facility! Josh was as helpful and friendly as ever, and I was in/out in 20 minutes.

I was at my wit's end trying to get my car fixed before a major trip and the staff was wonderful! They only charged me for my battery charge but also fixed my tire pressure (it fluctuates in the cold). When I called many other places in truckee at 8 am, they were already booked for the day. They got my car started before I finished paying the tow company!

Both Lisa and Dave were great from start to finish. The problem was diagnosed quickly, parts ordered & received promptly, and work completed in time foretold. I very much appreciate the courtesy, communication, and quality of the work done. Thank you!!

Fantastic customer service; I'm grateful for the "above-and-beyond" care and concern when I asked the technician about a non-functioning wiper fluid jet, when I had merely come in for an oil and fluid service! The advice was clear and helpful and solved the problem without further intervention. It was also extremely convenient being able to simply drive up and be done within 20 minutes. Five stars!
