Thorough professionals! Very helpful and communicative! I discovered the Auto Tire Doctor when my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek XV broke down on the I-80E about 40 miles out of Truckee. The car was towed to them after work hours. However, the very next day I received a prompt call from Dave about its receipt and in a few hours he had the diagnosis done. The problem turned out to be a severe rod knock in the engine potentially caused by the front crankshaft seal. Dave was helpful and very good at communicating my options to me. Since the car was still under the < 60k miles powertrain warranty, he suggested taking it to the dealership and only charged me for the diagnosis. Their diagnosis proved very helpful when the dealership initially refused to accept it as a fault in the engine. Dave was prompt in his interactions with the dealership as well and stuck to their initial diagnosis. Ultimately, the dealership relented and has agreed to cover the repairs under warranty. I am hopeful that the car will be back on the road soon. In the meantime, a huge shoutout to Dave for his help!

John and his team are the most honest, helpful, and understanding krewe we've ever had working on our two late-model cars. Very personal service, treated like you are the only client that day. Josh elaborated on the notes he had on the service order, and gave me T.J.'s name to refer to if my husband wanted more explanation. They went beyond just an oil change looking to see how my car was operating, and found some glitches. (some I knew about) I appreciated that!
