I had the most amazing experience at the auto doctor! They got me in quick even though they were really busy. They did a thorough oil change and gave me a print out of things that may cause problems for me in the near future. The waiting area was amazing and clean! Friendly staff and reasonably priced! Would definitely go again and recommend.

I visited here to try and get my engine checked/to have it diagnosed. I'm from Texas and had never been in Truckee, CA for any kind of car service. Lisa Trent was able to diagnose my problem and though I didn't end up needing their services, she and her team graciously helped me where they could. I would definitely recommend!

Great service! Had a flat tire while on vacation. Got my tire fixed quickly and employees were very courteous and professional...if we ever have a problem again with our vehicle, this is the only place we will go!

Late Friday afternoon, I turned into Truckee off of I-80 and had almost no braking ability. I limped into the Tire and Auto Doctor and asked for help. Though they were busy finishing up for the week, Jason, the service manager, came out and checked my brake fluid, then relying on his experience suggested it might be a vacuum pump for the brakes. He gave it a quick test which supported this suggestion. He turned me over to Lisa Trent, the service advisor, who schedule me in for the following week for a diagnosis and repair. On Monday, she called and confirmed Jason's diagnosis and arranged the logistics for removing and replacing the defective pump. I asked her to check the air conditioner, too, which failed with the vacuum pump. This team was right on top of everything. By Wednesday morning the repair and servicing were completed. I picked the van up the next day. If this shop were in my home town, I would go to no one else. A really positive experience from a very professional and caring team. Five Stars, definitely!

While traveling over the pass from Reno to California, a tire issue light came on in my car. I searched for the closest tire store and was directed to the Auto Doctor in Truckee. What a pleasant experience it was. I met Dave Carter, who heard my plight and went to work checking my tires and offering me information as to why I may have seen this light on my dash. He balanced the pressure in all the tires and said I was good to go. I was told there was no charge and offered the young man a tip but he refused it, even when I tried to insist. I would say that the owner if this store has a "gem" in this employee!! I am very grateful for the service I received from Dave.

Wrong shop, Sorry. Had a flat yesterday on our way home. Stopped in, had tire fixed and headed home. Great and fast service

Was visiting Reno from Northern California. Monday my Window Regulator in my 14 Chevy Cruze went out leaving my Drivers Window stuck down. Called a couple shops that were near by where I was shopping in Sparks but they couldn’t get me until mid to late week. Called The Auto Dr was told if I had it in by 1pm it would be done by 5pm. Dropped car off 12-1230ish picked it up at 4-430ish. Thanks Again!
